Grigor Grigoryan

Professional Experience as a Lawyer in Armenia

Grigor Grigoryan has more than 13 years of professional experience advising local and international clients on complex legal matters in Armenia. Throughout his career, he has been involved in a broad range of transactional, regulatory, and dispute resolution matters, delivering practical and business-oriented legal solutions.

As a legal adviser, Grigor advised Citibank in connection with a bond issuance project involving a major mining company operating in Armenia. In this role, he reviewed the relevant legal documentation to ensure compliance with Armenian law.

He also served as Team Leader of the Armenian legal team advising the Government of Armenia within the public-private partnership project for the implementation of the eID cards and electronic passports system in Armenia.

In addition, Grigor has been involved in the restructuring of a loan provided by the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and has represented clients in several major M&A transactions, including the acquisition of the assets of an oil-importing company in Armenia.

Grigor also advised one of the major construction companies in Armenia, “AAB Project” LLC, on obtaining a subsoil use license in the Lori and Syunik regions of Armenia. As part of this engagement, he led the preparation of the required legal documentation, coordinated public hearings, and drafted the necessary agreements.

He is a licensed advocate in Armenia and serves as an arbitrator at the Arbitration Institution of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia (RA CCI), as well as at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Armenia (AMCA).
